RYOBI DIE CASTING (THAILAND) CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Rayong County, Thailand, President:), an overseas group company of Ryobi Co., Ltd. Yasuhisa Kamima, hereinafter "RDT") and Kansai Energy Solutions (Thailand), a wholly owned subsidiary of Kansai Electric Power Co., Ltd. (K-EST) has signed a contract today for the introduction of a solar roof-mounted power generation system at the RDT Rayon Plant.

In this introduction, K-EST will install a 2 MW solar power generation panel on the roof of the RDT factory in Rayong Province, Thailand,and supply the generated electricity to the factory. RDT consumes all the generated electricity for 17 years. By implementing this project, RYOBI expects to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 1,498t * 1 annually. This is equivalent to about 18% of the plant's total annual CO2 emissions.

We will continue to develop CO2 emission reduction activities such as this one. Utilizing the knowledge and know-how cultivated through these activities, we will continue to contribute to the realization of a zero-carbon society by providing various services that meet the needs of our customers.
